What is MM2H Program?

The Malaysia My Second Home Programme (MM2H) offers non-Malaysians a ten year renewable visa and various other privileges. This programme is primarily attracting people who wish to retire and stay in Malaysia or having a second home as an investor in Malaysia. To qualify for the program, applicants must meet certain financial and medical criteria. Successful applicants are then entitled to enter and leave the country on a largely unrestricted basis, and also benefit from other incentives aimed at making their stay in Malaysia more convenient. Certain restrictions may apply. Meanwhile, Applicants are also allowed to bring along their dependants (children below 21 years of age, step children, disabled children, and parents, over 60) under their MM2H visa. Older dependent children will have to get a separate visa.

What is MM2H Privileges?

TEN YEAR VISA FOR MALAYSIA

Successful applicants will receive a ten year visa which allows them multiple entry and exit from the country. However it should be noted that the visa is issued based on your passport validity. It is very important to check the expiry date of your visa when you receive it as it may well not agree with the passport validity. In most cases the visa will expire some time before the expiration of your passport. You are required to obtain a new passport and get the visa extended before the expiration date of the visa chopped in your previous passport. Failure to do this means you will have to pay a penalty as the immigration department will regard you as being in the country illegally.

The government has advised that this visa does not lead to Permanent Residency. Obtaining PR in Malaysia is a difficult and lengthy process. But there are still way to get it done through our consultancy, but applicant of MYPR must be very strong in term of their investment and their duration of stay in Malaysia.
